Our story
Steep it cold, let the night do the work
Hot coffee draws bitterness out of the bean; cold brewing does not. A Steep Cold brewer holds coarse grounds and cold water together through the night, slowly drawing out the smooth, sweet, low-acid concentrate that cold brew is known for. In the morning you filter it, pour it over ice or dilute it with water or milk, and you have a jar of smooth coffee ready for days. It is a slow, patient way to brew — one that rewards a little planning with a concentrate that keeps in the fridge for a week.
